Obituary of Michael Morabito

Michael "Papa" Morabito Middletown, New York Michael "Papa" Morabito of Middletown, went to be with the Lord Jesus on February 16, 2014. He was 86. Michael was born on September 9, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Middletown in 1962, where he worked as a Foreman for Middletown Footwear. He was the widower of Concetta Morabito. A family statement read: "He was a great father, grandfather, and husband, and everything a man should be. We all looked up to him and now he looks down on us. He will be forever missed." "We Love you Papa". He was a volunteer driver for the Handicap. Survivors include his children Joyce Staltare and her husband Michael of Middletown; Mickey Morabito and his wife Barbara from California and Joann Auerback of Staten Island, N.Y. His grandchildren David and his wife Bianca; Mikey; Matthew Staltare and Erica Serrano and Tara Santiago and her husband Robert. His great-grandchildren Laila; Elijah; Eliana; Josiah and Isabela. He is also survived by several brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday February 19, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 20, 2014 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the spring in Pine Hill Cemetery.
