Obituary of Grace J. LaFrance

Grace "Joanne" LaFrance Formerly of Washingtonville, New York Grace "Joanne" LaFrance, a homemaker and former resident of Washingtonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Friday December 27, 2013. She was 85. The daughter of the late Theodore and Esther Crabb, she was born October 18, 1928 in Alamo, Texas. She was the widow of LeRoy LaFrance and a longtime member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe, NY. A family Statement reads: "Mom was the most unselfish person known. She loved unconditionally. She was extremely proud of and loved her grandson Erik and her daughter Denise, as well as her whole family. Thank you to staff of the Valley View Nursing Care and Rehab Center and the special ladies there: JoEllen, Wendy, Renee, Camille, Yolonda and Kathy for the love and care given and the dignity and respect shown to Mom. Thank you to Wingate in Beacon for caring for her in her final months." Survivors include her beloved daughter: Denise Weinberger of Plattekill, NY; her beloved grandson: Erik Weinberger of New York, NY; her son and his children; her sister: Phyllis Burns of Bedford, VA; as well as numerous other relatives including nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her brother: Earl Crabb. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family on a later date.
