Obituary of David J. Warren

David Jerome Warren, 76, a long-time Goshen resident, passed away on November 29, 2013. He was born in the Bronx, New York to the late Betty and Nathan Weinstock on September 4, 1937. He graduated from Curry College in Milton, Mass., and received a Master of Arts in English Education from Hofstra University. He married Susan Kruger on June 25, 1964. He worked for several decades at Mid-Hudson Psychiatric Center in New Hampton, and prior to that as a teacher and counselor. David is survived by his sister, Carol Shapiro of Rockaway, New Jersey, and three children: Adam Warren, of Middletown; Jennifer Warren, of Beacon, and Peter Warren, of Washington, DC. He is also survived by two granddaughters. A Funeral Service will be held Monday December 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. 107 Murray Avenue Goshen. Burial will follow at Slate Hill Cemetery in Goshen, NY.
