Obituary of Anna Kovacs

Anna Kovacs of Warwick, NY, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Elant in Wappingers Falls, NY. She was 88. Anna was born May 6, 1925 in Manhattan, New York. She was the widow of Joseph Stephen Kovacs. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Paul and Kathleen Gannon, and son Joseph and his wife Margaret. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Joseph and his wife Sarah, and Jennifer and her husband Stephen; her beloved great-children, Noah, Avery, and Nathanael. Ann's passion was cooking and baking, and she was called a "master chef" by many. She particularly enjoyed preparing, cooking, and baking at many functions of the American Legion in Warwick. Baking cookies and making candy for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren during the holidays was particularly enjoyable to her. There will be no visitation.
