Obituary of Eileen Hesse

Eileen Hesse of Greenwood Lake, New York, died on November 5, 2013. Born and raised in New York City, NY, Mrs. Hesse lived in Astoria, NY and Greenwood Lake, NY before moving to Whiting, New Jersey. She was 96. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church; the Catholic Daughters of America in Greenwood Lake, as well as a member of the Greenwood Lake Seniors. Mrs. Hesse is survived by her daughters: Carol Gareau of Whiting, New Jersey and Eileen Ronacher of Fort Myers, Florida; her sister: Joan Ryan and her husband John Ryan of Moriches, New York; her brother John Gleeson and his wife Joan Gleeson of Long Beach, New York; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband August Hesse. Visitation hours will be from 9-11 AM on Friday November 8, 2013 at the Strong-Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Friday November 8, 2013 at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake. Burial will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery in Warwick, New York.
