Dennis T. Dempsey, a retired furniture maker in Middletown and longtime resident of the area passed away Friday October 25, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was 69.
The son of the late Mathias and Helen Weimer Dempsey, he was born on November 25, 1943 in New York, NY.
Dennis was a member of the Carpenter's Union and the German Hungarian Sports Club.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Felicia Dempsey at home; his two children: Sean Dempsey and his wife Melinda of Walker Valley, NY; Tracy Dempsey of West Haven, CT and his two grandchildren Kellee and Patrick.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday October 27, 2013 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
