Gladys E. Souter Saugerties, NY Formerly of Middletown, NY Gladys E. Souter, a homemaker and former resident of Middletown, NY, passed away on Tuesday February 19, 2013 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 93. The daughter of the late Frank and Grace Jacobs VanBenschoten, she was born on November 5, 1919 in Middletown, New York. She was the widow of Fred Souter and was a member of Webb Horton Memorial Presbyterian Church in Middletown, NY. Survivors include her daughters: Sueann McIntyre of Shelby, Ohio; Kathleen Ann Milich of Woodstock, NY; her brother: Earl VanBenschoten of Albuquerque, New Mexico and her sister: Frances Harris of Little Rock, Arkansas; as well as her 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday February 21, 2013 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday February 22, 2013 at Wallkill Cemetery in Phillipsburg, NY, followed by burial.
