Obituary of Joyce Applegate

Joyce Applegate Slate Hill, New York Joyce Applegate, of Slate Hill, a former aide at Valley View, hair dresser and lifelong resident of the area, died Friday February 8, 2013 at Valley View Center for Nursing Care and Rehabilitation. She was 75. The daughter of the late Harold Williams and Lois Decker Williams, she was born July 7, 1937 in Slate Hill, New York. Survivors include her husband: Richard Applegate at home; her mother: Lois Williams of Slate Hill, NY; her children: Debra Seaman of Slate Hill, NY; Kelly Nicholas & her husband Mark of Unionville, NY; Scott McDowell & his wife Kim of Newton, Alabama; Todd McDowell & his wife Marie of Pine Bush, NY; her grandchildren: Steven Seaman & his wife Carrie; Richard Lynch; Matthew & Ryan Nicholas; Katelynn & Sara Jane McDowell; her great granddaughter: Kaya Seaman; her brothers: Robert & his wife Janet of Malone, NY; Edward & his wife Linda of Slate Hill, NY; as well as several nieces; nephews; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Duane McDowell and her father Harold Williams. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday February 14, 2013 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday February 15, 2013 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Ridgebury Cemetery in the spring in Ridgebury, NY.
