Nancy LaPerna New Hampton, New York Nancy LaPerna of New Hampton, a former seamstress for the International Ladies Garment Workers in New York and longtime resident of the area, died Sunday February 3, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 99. The daughter of the late Manuel and Josephine DeStefano Mazzasalma, she was born on November 19, 1913 in Comiso, Sicily, Italy. She was the widow of Ralph LaPerna. Survivors include her sons: Ralph LaPerna Jr. and his wife Regina of New Hampton, NY; Philip LaPerna of Middletown, NY; her grandchildren: Ralph LaPerna; Benjamin LaPerna and William LaPerna ; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Tuesday February 5, 2013 and 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Wednesday February 6, 2013 at Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday February 7, 2013 at St. Joseph RC Church in Middletown, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
