Obituary of Charles H. Houck

Charles H. Houck of Mt. Hope, a retired truck driver for LP Transportation in Chester and a lifelong resident of the area, died on November 26, 2012 in ORMC in Middletown. He was 78. The son of the late Herbert and Esther Houck, he was born on July 9, 1934 in Matamoras, PA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Woodmen of the World and the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Mildred "Millie" Houck at home. His children Geraldine Gould and her husband Elroy of Unionville; Mark Frank and his wife Gigi of Cuddebackville; JoAnn Weissinger and her husband Ronald of Middletown; Charles Houck and companion Diana of Elmira, N.Y. and Faith Elliott of Gillett, PA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday November 29, 2012 from 5-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 30 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery Town of Wawayanda, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the People for People Fund.
