John D. Decker of Middletown, New York a former taxi driver with Robbins Taxi in Middletown, died on October 18, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 57.
The son of the late June Kanoff, he was born on August 13, 1955 in Middletown, N.Y.
Survivors include his sons Joseph Gust and Jay Decker both of Middletown. His brothers and sisters Gary Zwart; Angela Preston; Pauline Mendoza and her husband Francisco; Shirley McCarthy and her husband Kevin; Cathy Mapes and her husband Ronald; Henry Margarum; and Tammy Margarum. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday October 24, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
