Obituary of Linda Doris King

Linda Doris King of Port Jervis, a former cab driver and a former longtime resident of Middletown, died on Friday July 6, 2012 in Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis surrounded by her family following a fight with a long illness. She was 65. The daughter of the late Anthony and Doris Milne Valentia, she was born on April 7, 1947 in Middletown, N.Y. She was the widow of Ernest DeRosa (1982). Survivors include her husband Richard King at home. Her children Teresa Lozano and her husband Ismael of Huguenot; Ernest D. DeRosa of Port Jervis and William J. DeRosa and his fiancé Lynann Conklin of Port Jervis. Her brother Anthony Valentia; her sisters Charlene Heater; Bonnie Schultz; Sandra Davila and Charlotte Steimle. She is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Monday July 9, 2012 from 5-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, N.Y.
