Obituary of Elfriede Parrelli

Elfriede K. Parrelli of Greenwood Lake, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died on Saturday May 12, 2012 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y. She was 91. The daughter of the late Augustin and Helene Von Spyra Boehm, she was born on March 4, 1921 in Beuthen, Germany. She was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake. She was a member and Past President of the Altar Rosary Confraternity of Holy Rosary Church. She loved gardening. She was the widow of Nicholas Parrelli. Survivors include her son Walter Parelli and his wife Julie of White Plains, N.Y. Her grandchildren Gregory and Kristen. Her brothers-in-laws and sister-in-laws Charles and Eileen Parrelli of Scotch Plains, N.J. ;Anthony and Rose Parrelli of Chico, CA. and Anneliese Boehm of Germany and nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday May 15, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday May 16, 2012 at 10 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery Warwick, N.Y.
