George Everett Plant III of Middletown, N.Y. passed away very peacefully at Garnet Medical Center, while his sister Cindy held his hand and comforted him with happy memories. He was 61. George was the son of the late beautiful Ruth "Lucy" Plant and the late George E. Plant Jr. He was born in Horton Hospital in Middletown, N.Y. on March 28, 1960. George worked as a very dependent and hard working maintenance man for several companies, including Classic Case Corporation for many years as well as Walmart in Middletown, N.Y. George was a past member and Outside Guard Officer for the Fraternal Order of Eagle's #544 where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also absolutely loved going to the stock car races at the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, N.Y. George is survived by his cherished children Rhonda Plant of Las Vegas, NV. And April Plant of Port Jervis, N.Y. His loving siblings Charles Plant, Cynthia Plant, Richard Plant, Tammy Plant DeGroat all of Middletown, N.Y. and Susan Plant of Washington, D.C. He is also survived by his darling grandchildren Javion Kornegay, James (Taco) Kornegay, Isaiah Christian Noel and Sebastian Louis Scott as well as his many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
