Obituary of Angelina R. Greco

Angelina R. Greco of Kannapolis, NC (formally of Orange County, NY), a retired School Aide at the Chester Union Free School District with over 25 years of service, died Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in North Carolina. She was 74. Angelina, daughter of the late Lewis and Alfina Grecco, was born March 9, 1947 in Woodbury, NJ. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kannapolis, NC; former member of the Chester St. Columba and Middletown St. Joseph R.C. choirs, the Red Hat Society, and Kiwanis Club of Chester, NY. Mom's greatest joy was working with children and in her retirement resumed working part-time in the Chester, Goshen, and Kannapolis school districts often brought her famous cookies to all. Cooking and baking for others was how she expressed her love and gratitude. Mom was devoted to our Lord and The Blessed Mother and found immense joy and peace singing in the choir. Survivors include her children, Dianne Moore and her husband, Kevin, of Chester; Samuel Greco and his wife, Laura, of Chester; Louis J. Greco and his wife, Leticia, of Highland Mills; her seven grandchildren, Sean Greco and his wife Veronika, Joseph Greco, Michael Moore, Nathan Greco, Angel Torres, Louis D. Greco and Regina Moore; two great grandchildren, Jayce Parrilla and Freya Greco; her sister Rosina Carter, and her husband Don of Newark, DE; nephew and Godson, Ethan Wright and niece Regan Shinn and several cousins. Angelina was pre-deceased by her husband, John and her infant sister, Palmina. As you prepare to attend services please be aware that NYSDOH guidelines require Facial Coverings must be worn at all times while at the Funeral Home and the Church. Visitation hours will be held on Friday February 4, 2022 from 4-7 P.M. and Saturday February 5, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 5, 2022 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church in Middletown, N.Y.
