Robert M. DeGroat Sr. of Middletown, N.Y., passed away on January 12, 2022 in Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y. He was 51.
The son of Stewart William DeGroat Sr. and the late Nancy Ellen DeGroat, he was born on March 3, 1970 in Middletown, N.Y.
Survivors include his children Robert DeGroat Jr.; Alyssa Faith DeGroat; Isaiah DeGroat; Matthew DeGroat and Michael DeGroat. His companion Kelly Henken. His Father Stewart DeGroat Sr. and his brothers Stewart DeGroat Jr.; Jonathan DeGroat and Joseph DeGroat and his sisters Tonya DeGroat and Brittany Jessica DeGroat. His four grandchildren Alyssa Pitre-DeGroat; Aaliyah DeGroat; Ariella DeGroat and Azaylia Faith Russo. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Anthony Joseph DeGroat, his sister Mary Ellen DeGroat and his mother Nancy Ellen DeGroat.
Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday January 18, 2022 from 2-4 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
