Antoinette Sorice of Middletown, N.Y. a longtime resident of the area passed away on September 18, 2021 in the Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh, N.Y. She was 93. The daughter of the late Nicola and Teresa Scali Arceri, she was born on September 18, 1928 in Calabria, Italy. She was the widow of Frank Sorice. Survivors include her children Anthony Sorice and his wife Deborah of Montgomery, N.Y.; Phyllis Letterii and her husband Mickey of Highland, N.Y. and Nicholas Sorice and his wife Coleen of Middletown, N.Y. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Pasquale Arceri and her sister Giuseppina Arceri. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday September 21, 2021 from 3-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 22, 2021 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, N.Y. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, N.Y.
