Obituary of Felicita Rivas
Felicita "Fela" Rivas
Born July 10, 1933 in Corozal, Puerto Rico.
She was the second of seven children born to Antonio Rivas and Maria San Inocencio.
She came to America in 1950 and claimed that this was her home.
She had one daughter Lizzette Ramos home she dedicated her life to.
Her sisters and brothers had children and she took them all in as if they were her own. When they visited they loved her because of her light and basically "cool" nature. She would teach them how to curse and tell them dirty jokes and the turn around and say, "if I hear you repeating any of this, you know what's going to happen." They loved her as if she were their own mother. Every life she touched she made better. If you speak to anyone the word "angel" or "she was just like my mother", her name always comes up without fail.
She is survived by her daughter Lizzette, son-in-law Jerry Elizares, her beloved cats: Copper, Gadget, Pearl, Veruca and Lindsay. Her younger siblings: Minia Maldonado, Idalia Sepulveda, Ary Figueroa and Eligio Rivas. Her nieces and nephews: Randy, Nancy, Matthew, Michael Henry, Andre, Eli, Henry Joe, Jorge, Mary, Annabelle and Maison. Her godchildren Barbara and Eugene. Her beloved friends: Tita, Esther, Elsa, Nicole, Lupe, Rosie, Libbe and all the others that touched her lives. She loved each and everyone.
