Obituary of Maria C. Rotundo

Maria "Connie" Rotundo Middletown, New York Maria C. "Connie" Rotundo of Middletown, N.Y. a former employee of Strick Corp. and De Filippis Bakery in Middletown and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on March 7, 2021 in Garnet Health Medical Center. She was 68. The daughter of the late Antonio and Annina Danizio, she was born on March 11, 1952 in Magisano, Italy. Survivors include her husband Pietro Rotundo at home. Her children Annarosa Gomez (Tony) of Mass.; Annina Henesy of Vermont; Carmine Rotundo of Middletown and Antonio Rotundo (Melissa) of Middletown. Her brother Pietro Danizio and her sister Mirella Danizio both of Italy. Her grandchildren: Karina (Noe) Rodriguez, George Rodriguez, Maria Hall (Deryck), Isabella Sibley, Zachary Henesy, Kayla Henesy, Carmine Rotundo, Matthew Rotundo, Emma Rotundo, Annamaria, Joseph and Katarina Rotundo. Her great-grandchildren: Jacob, Isabella and Orlando. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday March 13, 2021 from 9-10:30 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church in Middletown, N.Y.
