Patrick Kennerk Middletown, New York Patrick Kennerk, of Middletown, New York a former accountant with Bankers Trust in N.Y., N.Y. and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on April 7, 2020 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y. He was 79. The son of the late Gregory Timothy and Helen Augusta Leich Kennerk, he was born on May 25, 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Patrick was a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson University and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an active member of St. Joseph Church, where he served as a longtime usher and Eucharistic Minister. He was also an avid reader and lover of crossword puzzles. He was the widower of Elizabeth "Betty" Kennerk, nee' Trabulsi. Survivors include his stepchildren Catherine Fairfield of Warwick, N.Y.; Bernadette Torres and her husband Michael Claeys of Kansas City, Missouri and Bethanne Carter and her husband Billy of Lake Alfred, Florida. His grandchildren Carolann Torres and Steven Fairfield. He is also survived by his sister Maggie Wood and her husband Jeff and his brother-in-law William Richardson and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Kathryn "Kitty" Richardson and Nora Kennerk and his brother Timothy Kennerk. A private funeral service was held on Tuesday April 14, 2020 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, N.Y.
