Vincenza Toia

Vincenza "Vivian" Toia of Slate Hill, a retired Bank manager for Marine Midland Bank/HSBC in Tappan, N.Y., died on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at her home. She was 85. The daughter of the late Biaggio and Domenica Zumatto, she was born on September 16, 1926 in Sicily, Italy. She was a member of Holy Cross R.C. Church; the Greenville Seniors and the Slate Hill Pacers. Survivors include her husband of 63 years Philip Toia at home. Her daughters Vivian Osnato and her husband Salvatore of Long Island, N.Y. and Donna Toia Aaron of Slate Hill, N.Y. Her six grandchildren: Jessica; Jaime; Kiera; James; Nicole and Michelle. Her brother Anthony Zumatto of Middletown and her sisters Marie Acovino of Delray Beach, Fl. and Josephine Milone of Bronx, N.Y. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Philip Toia and her brothers Louis and Carmine Zumatto. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday March 15 from 7-9 P.M. and Friday March 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 17, 2012 at 10 AM in Holy Cross R. C. Churc in South Centerville, N.Y. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown.
