Sharon Metaxotos

Sharon P. Kilcullen Metaxotos New Windsor, N.Y. Formerly of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Sharon P. Kilcullen Metaxotos, a manager in the Hospitality business and a former home health aide, died on May 11, 2017 in St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, N.Y. She was 67. The daughter of the late John "Jack" and Anne Naughton Kilcullen, she was born on March 12, 1950 in New York City. Sharon was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Church and served on the Parish Council as well as a member of the Catholic Daughters. She was involved in the Gaelic Society and Project Children. The Greenwood Lake Ambulance Corp and the Town of Highlands Ambulance. She was involved in the Soccer Club in Greenwood Lake and the Greenwood Lake Little League. She was also a Blue Star Mother. Survivors include her husband William Metaxotos at home. Her children Kenneth AKA Stephen of N.Y. Erin Metaxotos-Katulak and her husband David of Greenwood Lake; SheileenMetaxotos of Highland Falls; William Metaxotos Jr. and his wife Aimee of the Town of Newburgh; Kelly Metaxotos and her companion Malcolm of Callicoon, N.Y. and Sgt. Bryan Metaxotos and his wife Lauren of Fayetteville, N.C. She is also survived by her brother James Kilcullen of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Her grandchildren Jacob; Kirsten; Briella; Hailee; Alex; Malcolm; Caleb; Brooke and Shane and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Jackie "Wack" and Thomas "Ace" and her sisters Anne "Sis" and Catherine "Katie". Visitation hours will be held on Monday May 15, 2017 from 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday May 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
