Roland Farrier of Middletown, a retired printer for the New York Times and a longtime resident of the area, died peacefully on September 15, 2017 in Middletown. He was 93. The son of the late Harry and Helen Smith Farrier, he was born on March 30, 1924 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He was a member of Wallkill Counsel 92 Junior Order Mechanics and Daughters of America Olympia Counsel 15. He was the Past Counselor of both organizations. Survivors include his grandsons James Carron and John Carron of Chazy, N.Y. His caregivers Trudy Hyde and Kelley Rumsey and several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday September 19, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Burial to follow in Howells Cemetery Howells, N.Y.
