Robert A. Johnson Middletown, New York Robert A. Johnson, a maintenance worker at the Orange County Speedway and lifelong resident of the area died Sunday March 10, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 73. The son of the late Richard J. and Betty Jarvis Johnson Sr. he was born September 16, 1939 in Middletown, NY. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. ARMY. He was a member of the Voice of Gospel Mission Church. A Family statement reads: "Robert loved doing carpentry and working with his hands, he especially enjoyed refurbishing the church." Survivors include his children: Robert Johnson Jr. & his wife Tammy of Bloomingburg, NY; Andrew Johnson & his wife Ann Marie of Slate Hill, NY; Christine Johnson & her companion Jerry of Pennsylvania; his daughter-in-law: Joleen Woods Johnson of Greenville, NY; his brothers: Richard L. Johnson Jr; Dennis Johnson & his wife Carolee; his sisters: Marsea Primus & her companion Lloyd; Bonnie Wisher & her husband Carl, all of Middletown; as well as his grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews & cousins. Robert was predeceased by his wife Betty Ann Johnson; his son Stephen A. Johnson; his brothers: Glenn S. Johnson & Leonard A. Johnson. Visitation will be held from 7-9 PM on Thursday March 14, 2013 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday March 15, 2013 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Johnson and Evangelist Richard Johnson officiating.
