Richard J. "Dick" Pines Middletown, New York Richard J. "Dick" Pines of Middletown, a retired Tool and Dye Maker for International Paper in Tuxedo, N.Y. and a lifelong resident of the area, died on January 5, 2016 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 82. The son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Gibbs Pines, he was born on September 13, 1933 in Westtown, New York. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a founding member of the Windpower Assn. of Lubbock, Texas. He was a member of the Cast Iron Seat Collectors Assn and the Mid-Hudson Steampower Assn. Survivors include his wife Janet Pines at home. His children Richard A. Pines and his wife Imelda of Arizona and Lisa Pines Ingalls and her husband Jeffrey of New Jersey. His grandchildren Atticus; Holden; Denham and Cash. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Edward Pines. Visitation hours will be held on Friday January 8, 2016 from 3-6 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 9, 2016 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway Suite 1509 N.Y. , N.Y. 10018.
