Phillip D. "PJ" Bertholf Jr. of Greensboro, N.C. and a former longtime resident of Middletown, N.Y., died on January 20, 2017 in Greensboro, N.C. He was 40. The son of the late Phillip Bertholf Sr. and Sharon Delillo, he was born on August 29, 1976 in Middletown, N.Y. Phillip was a Facilities Coordinator with Global Brands Group of Greensboro, N.C. He was a speaker for the National Kidney Foundation. Phillip was a former Collegiate Women's Basketball and Volleyball coach at SUNY Orange and Girls Varsity Basketball coach at Middletown High School. He was also a former Little League Coach in Middletown. Survivors include his wife Sonya M. Bertholf at home. His children Phillip D. Bertholf III and Isabella S. Bertholf at home. His mother Sharon Delillo of Middletown. His sisters Raelynn Bertholf and her wife Brianne; Sasha Bertholf and Kara Garnere all of Middletown. His brothers Corey Bertholf and Dane Garnere of Middletown. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and his loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 26, 2017 at 11 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church 391 Mt. Hope Road Middletown, N.Y. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
