Paula Weber Greenwood Lake, New York Paula Weber of Greenwood Lake, a retired seamstress for Warwick Fashion and a longtime resident of the area, died on July 6, 2015 at her home. She was 96. The youngest daughter of the late Konstantin and Regina Herold, she was born on December 24, 1918 in Oedheim, Germany. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Leonard Weber. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A family statement read: "We wish to express our thanks to Dr. Dennis Scharfenberger for his many years of care and to the staff and volunteers of Hospice of Orange for making her final days comfortable. Survivors include her two daughters Rosemarie S. Weber of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Elizabeth R. Weber of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Hubert, Heinrich, Gebhardt, and Fritz Herold and her sister Victoria Rauh and Luzia Bertsch. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2015 from 4-7 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 9, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Warwick, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church or Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties. Arrangements by Strong Basile Funeral Home 477-8240
