Nelson Moreno

Nelson A. Moreno of Pine Bush, a retired Chef at NYU Hospital in New York, N.Y. died on Friday September 30, 2016 at his home. He was 85. The son of the late Pedro and Magdalena Torres Moreno, he was born on March 1, 1930 in Ensenada, Puerto Rico. He was the widower of Evelyn Moreno Vazquez who preceded him in death on November 23, 2006. Survivors include his daughter Evelyn Cintron and her husband Louis of Circleville, N.Y. His grandchildren Stephen; Amanda and Sarah. He is also survived by his niece Nora Otero and her husband Ronny and their children Diana and Ana. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Visitation hours will be held on Monday October 3, 2016 from 4-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. at the Church of the Infant Saviour 22 Holland Ave. Pine Bush, N.Y. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
