Myrna Elena Angulo passed away at home on October 21, 2021. Myrna was born in Cali, Colombia on October 6, 1957 to Victor Manuel Angulo and Marina Pereira de Angulo. She came to the United States at the age of 18 and attended Atlantic Union College where she met her husband Richard Valentine Mills Jr., whom she had been married to for 40 years as of September 2021. She is survived by her husband, Richard Valentine Mills Jr., her children: Richard Valentine Mills III and his wife Monika Benko Mills, Sabrina Carlene Mills, Victor Anthony Mills, and Alexander Edward Mill; grandchildren: Ava, Emma, and Jaden; sisters: Luz Marina Angulo Robinson and her husband Riva Robinson, Elizabeth Angulo, and Anna Victoria Angulo; nieces: Erika, Rina, Whitney, and Janelyn; nephews: Ryan, Andrew and Samuel and many cousins of the Angulo family that are throughout Colombia. Myrna was a loyal and active member of the Middletown Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a source of comfort, love, joy, and spiritual guidance to her family and friends. Her passion in life was "the Gospel of Christ…for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes". Wherever she went and whomever she met, she never missed an opportunity to share this gospel. As she now sleeps in Christ, she eagerly awaits for the second coming of Christ where the "Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout…and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first." "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on…that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them". Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am and the funeral from 11 am to 12:30 pm on October 27 at the Middletown Seventh Day Adventist Church, at 70 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. The funeral will also be streamed live on YouTube. Interment will follow in the family plot at Wallkill Cemetery, Midway Rd., Middletown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the funeral by the immediate family.
