Martin M. Gagliardi Monroe, New York Martin M. Gagliardi, a retired Police officer with the NYPD, passed away on January 3, 2021 after a short illness at St. Anthony's Community Hospital. He was 91. The son of the late Joseph and Caroline Tammero Gagliardi, he was born on August 24, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the widower of Louise A. Gagliardi. Martin was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Past Commander of the American Legion, a member of the Hudson Valley 1013 PBA, he was CEO of the NY Coliseum Exhibition Corp and was a veteran of the US NAVY during Korea stationed on the USS Seawolf submarine. Survivors include his son: Joseph Gagliardi & his wife Susan of Georgia; daughter-in-law: Karen Gagliardi of Monroe; his grandchildren: Maria Badger, Joseph & Christopher Gagliardi; his great-grandchildren: Delaney & Dax; as well as his sister: Marie Rust of Sarasota, FL. He was predeceased by his children: Carolyn & Mark Gagliardi. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 11, 2021 at 11 AM at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, NY. Entombment will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
