Marie Rose Smith of Middletown, New York, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, passed away on September 10, 2023 at her home. She was 79.
The daughter of the late Roy and Lulu Heater, she was born on April 6, 1944 in Middletown, N.Y.
She was the widow of Don Smith.
Survivors include her children Donald Smith Jr. of Alabama, Kevin Smith of Bloomingburg and Dennis Smith and his wife Maria Smith of Thompson Ridge, N.Y. Her grandchildren David, Tiela, Austin, Dylan, Sarah, Karleigh and Skarlett. Her brother Dick Heater and her sisters Joan Brunning and Shirley Waterman. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday September 14, 2023 from 5-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 15, 2023 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church in Middletown, N.Y.
The burial will be in the Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, N.Y.
