Louis Clemente

Louis S. Clemente, a retired mechanic for H.L. Ayres and Carrol Bus Co. and longtime resident of the area went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 10, 2015 at home. He was 88. The son of the late Vincenzo and Josephine Clemente, he was born December 15, 1926 in New York, NY. Louis was a former Sgt. in the U.S. Army and a Korean War Veteran; a member of the Bread of Life Assembly of God Church in Bullville, NY and a former member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Middletown, NY. He served as a longtime trustee and treasurer of the Church. Survivors include: his wife Mary Clemente at home; his children: Josephine Pooley and her husband The Rev. Stephen Pooley of Albany, NY and Vincent Clemente and his fiancé Stefanie Spiegl of Pine Bush; his grandchildren: Louis Clemente and his wife Catherine of St. Paul, MN. and Samantha Clemente of Fort Wayne, Indiana; as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters: Josephine DeLucia and Lena Clemente. Visitation hours will be held from2 to 4 and 7-9 P.M. on Tuesday January 13, 2015 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Bert Lloyd and the Rev. Jerry Bricker will officiate. Interment will be at the Orange County Veteran's Cemetery 111 Craigville Road Goshen, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bread of Life Church 2876 State Route 17K Bullville, NY 10915.
