Jutta Marie Zankl Pine Bush, New York Jutta Marie Zankl, 70, passed away October 29, 2018 at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital. Jutta was born in Salzdahlum, Germany on January 4, 1948 to Joseph and Margrete (Jama) Kalkowski. She came to the United States on October 30, 1956 with her loving mother, father and two brothers. Jutta worked for 42 years at Albert Einstein College of Medicine assistant to the chairman of Epidemiology. She was a very proud American Citizen. She loved America with all her heart. She always said America was the best country in the World. Jutta is survived by her loving and devoted husband Joseph R. Zankl at home in Pine Bush, N.Y. Her loving brother Manfred Kalkowski , sister-in-law Marilyn Kalkowski, and several nieces and nephews. Jutta was predeceased by her loving brother Bruno Kalkowski. We want to thank Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital their Emergency Room head Dr. Cerillo and his staff of fine nurses and doctors. We also want to thank ICU doctors Leonard Maffucci, Goldstein, Mandel and Diego Escobar. They worked so very hard to give Jutta the best of care possible. We also want to thank the professional and caring staff of nurses and doctors in the ICU that treated Jutta with loving and caring tenderness. We will always be so very grateful to them for that. We also want to thank our very good friend and doctor Vladimir Andries Montgomery, N.Y. who always came to our home to take care of Jutta and was always there for her when she needed him. Visitation hours will be held on Friday November 2, 2018 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the Church of the Infant Savior in Pine Bush, N.Y. Entombment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery Pine Bush, N.Y. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children; St. Judes Children's Hospital; Wounded Warrior Project or Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital.
