Judith L. Kukelka

Judith L. Kukelka of Middletown, N.Y. a former longtime resident of Slate Hill, N.Y. and Vero Beach, Florida passed away on Tuesday February 11, 2025 in Middletown Park Manor. She was 85.

The daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Carr, she was born on October 28, 1939 in Warwick, N.Y.

Judith was a longtime employee of JC Penney in Middletown, N.Y. and retired as an office administrator. After her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her stitchery and Rummy Q groups, and was an active volunteer at Horton Hospital and later at McKee Gardens in Vero Beach Fla.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years William Kukelka at home, her children Bill Kukelka, Mike Kukelka and his wife Jillian Caci and Jason Kukelka, and her grandsons Will, Christopher and Ronan. She is also survived by her sister Libby Carr and her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters Suzann Gassett, Sandy Eppendorfer and Nancy Kosier and her brothers Joe (Smokey) Carr, Ronald Carr and Glenn Carr.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday February 17, 2025 from 4-7 P.M. at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home 33 Railroad Ave. Middletown, N.Y.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
