Juanita Harter

Juanita C. Harter Middletown, New York Juanita C. Harter, a homemaker and long time resident of the area passed away Friday April 25, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 93. The daughter of the late Robert and Emma Ritter Carden , she was born December 26, 1920 in Dott, West Virginia. She was the widow of Bernard S. Harter. Juanita was a foster mother to over one hundred children. Survivors include her five children: Shirley Catalano and her husband Frank of Michigan; Shelby Jean Newhall and her husband John of Middletown; Patricia Green and her husband Bill of Slate Hill, NY; Phillip Harter and his wife Elizabeth of Middletown; Deborah Itzla and her husband Robert of Florida, NY; her son-in-law: Frank Tremberger of Pine Bush, NY; She is further survived by her 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter: Charlotte Tremberger; her two grandchildren: Brian Newhall and Deborah Young. Visitation will be held from 3-8 PM on Monday April 28, 2014 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday April 29, 2014 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10 AM . Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Florida, NY.
