Joseph Salvati

Joseph Michael Salvati passed away at home on January 10, 2017 with his loving wife Linda by his side. He was 77. The son of Anthony Salvati and Katherine Salvati Lee, he was born on February 19, 1939 in Middletown, New York. He and Linda were married on March 28, 1976 and to this day he always called her his bride. Joe attended Middletown High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Orange Regional Medical Center after 30 years in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Middletown Elk's Lodge 1097 for 53 years. He was a member of the Mountaineers Rod and Gun Club that was started by his late Grandfather Joseph Salvati. Joe enjoyed besides #1 hunting, also a round of golf on Sunday morning with his late son Jeff. He liked boating and would not say no to an occasional game of poker. He leaves behind his wife Linda, his daughter Karen and her husband Charlie Robinson of Middletown, a grandson Craig Robinson and his companion Ashley Faust and a great-grandson Cayden Robinson. His granddaughter Jennifer Salvati and her fiancé Conor Miller of Newburgh and his daughter-in-law Kathleen Salvati of Wappingers Falls who he thought a lot of. His sister Sheryl Carney of Middletown and his brother Kevin Salvati of Matamoras, PA. and his two half brothers Barry and Tracy Lee, his aunt Tish and his uncle Ernie of Melbourne, Fl. He was predeceased by his parents and his son Jeff and his brother Denis. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 2-5 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, New York with a Funeral service to be held on Saturday at 5PM at the Funeral Home.
