Iris Clarke

Iris D. Clarke Middletown, N.Y. Iris D. Clarke of Middletown, a life- long resident of the area, died on August 29, 2013 at St. Joseph's Place in Port Jervis. She was a retired Office Manager for Princeton Upholstery in Middletown. The daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Hunter, she was born on October 29, 1928 in Cadosia, New York. She was the widow of the late Frederick Clarke, of Middletown. Iris was a lifetime member of the Middletown Business and Professional Woman Club and a member of the Middletown Republican Committee and the Rebecca Lodge. She is survived by her children; Guy Clarke of Middletown; Cindy Norris and her husband Fred of Burgaw, N.C.; Frederick Clarke Jr. and his wife Cathy of Parker, Colorado and Wayne Clarke and his wife Sherri of Middletown, N.Y.; a sister Gwendolyn Scoville of Hancock, N.Y.; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 niece and 1 nephew. She also leaves behind her loving companion Archie Blakeslee of Middletown. She was predeceased by her siblings; Aleatha Gross, Florence Crawford, William Hunter and a great-grand daughter Courtney Nave. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 4-7pm at Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street, Middletown, N.Y. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 4, 2013 at 10:30am at the Funeral Home, the Rev. Jeffrey Farley will officiate. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 11:00am in the Riverview Cemetery in Hancock, N.Y.
