Helen Elizabeth Muer of Middletown, the former owner with her husband Frank of Frankie's Sausage Bar in Middletown, and a lifelong resident of the area, died on November 18, 2015 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 96. The daughter of the late Wesley Janes Dickinson and Lulu Davenport Dickinson, she was born on November 18, 1919 in Southbury, Ct. She was the widow of Frank Muer. She was a life member of the Bloomingburg Grange. A member of the Wurtsboro VFW and a member of the former Bloomingburg Methodist Church. Survivors include her grandchildren Donald Smith of Alabama; Kevin Smith of Bloomingburg and Dennis Smith of Thompson Ridge, N.Y. Her daughter-in-law Rose Smith of Middletown. Her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews including Barbara Roe , Joey Muer and his wife Stephanie of the State of Florida; Beverly Neiger and her husband Ronald of Middletown and Frank Muer of Middletown. Ryan Neiger and his wife Lindsey of Middletown; Kristen Neiger and Katlin Neiger all of Middletown. She was predeceased by her son Donald Smith and her brothers and sisters. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday November 22, 2015 from 2-5 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York. Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 23, 2015 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bloomingburg Cemetery Bloomingburg, N.Y.
