Helen Benjamin

Helen M. Benjamin of Middletown, a former housekeeper and companion for Mabel Horton Bull and a lifelong resident of the area, died on January 18, 2014 in Middletown Park Manor. She was 96. The daughter of the late Harry and Mary Ann Middleton Benjamin, she was born on June 7, 1917 in Port Jervis, New York. She was a member of the Orange County Genealogical Society and the Middletown-Wallkill Historical Society. Survivors include her brother David Charles Benjamin of Port Jervis and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings. Funeral services will be held in the Spring in Manning Cemetery in Greenville, N.Y.
