George Doty

George Doty Sr. Middletown, New York George Doty Sr. of Middletown, N.Y., a longtime employee of Gilman's Cleaners in Middletown and a lifelong resident of the area, passed away at his home on Friday March 26, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was 72. The son of the late George and Mabel Matthews Doty, he was born on May 25, 1948 in Middletown, New York. He was also a former employee of Delford Rubber in Middletown, N.Y. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Otisville Sportsmen Club and Shawangunk Fish and Game and the Tri-State Rod and Gun Club. He loved hunting with his wife Kathy and his children and grandchildren. He worked hard to provide whatever the family needed. Survivors include his wife Kathy. His sister Dolores Moran. His children George Jr. and his husband Mike, Frank and his wife Amy, David and his fiancé Bonnie, Tom and his wife Jen, John and his wife Kim, and Kathy and her significant other Joe. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nate, Ryan, Joey, Emily, Maddie, Jessica, Katie, Megan, Andrew, Austin, Zachary and Mathew. His great-grandchildren Dominic and Scarlet and nieces and nephews. Please be aware as you prepare to attend services facial coverings are required and social distancing must be maintained at all times. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday March 31, 2021 from 3-6 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, N.Y.
