Gabriel P. Byrne, cherished husband of 21 years, entered into eternal rest on Monday October 2, 2017. Gabriel leaves behind his beloved wife Christina (nee Cullinane), his father, Manus Byrne, as well as his five brothers and four sisters: Thomas (Patricia), Michael (Susan), Helen, Mary Wilkinson, Gregory (Tara), Matthew (Liz), David (Darrah), Ann Gaus (Wesley)and Elizabeth Feeney(John). Gabriel also leaves behind his grieving mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Danny Cullinane; his sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Moore(Brian), Sandra O'Connor(Christopher) and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Sadly, Gabriel was recently predeceased by his mother, Loretto Byrne (nee Keenan). Gabriel worked for 23 years as a licensed master plumber for R&R Plumbing Services Corporation(Roto-Rooter) out of the Westchester Division. Gabe was absolutely adored by his family and friends. He was a warm generous person with the kindest heart, the biggest laugh and the best stories. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday October 8, 2017 at Lippincott Funeral Home, Inc. 92 Main Street Chester, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday October 9, 2017 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St. Albert's Chapel, 70 Carmelite Drive Middletown, NY.
