Frederick Martin Baker Jr. has been called on by God to rest in eternal love on October 31st, 2024.

An 3rd generation Otisville native born November 15th, 1954.

A man of many hats and who has touched many lives.

Known to many in his younger years as Ricky, and after the passing of his dad taking the mantle of Fred.

At an early age he enlisted in the Air Force where he served his country and later joined the air guard and retired. A career in NYS corrections at Otisville.

His charity knew no bounds being a generational Masonic member, Shriner, Elk, and VFW Post 5497 member. Member of various volunteer fire departments, last of which was Otisville, throughout his life. Member of the Orange County board of elections, Black Brooke Rod and Gun Club, and The Green Knights Motorcycle Club. Like all good dads he joined the Otisville little league as a coach for time. A lifelong member of the Otisville Presbyterian Church. A man never to sit still long you could always find him working in the local hardware store no matter where he lived.

Lover of animals, hunting, NASCAR, classic cars, motorcycles, and lasagna.

He is Predeceased by his mother and father Frederick and Carly’s Baker of Otisville, his first wife Deborah Yonskie Baker, and his brother Earl Baker.

Survived by his daughter Virginia Baker Hewitt (Jim) Son Cornelius M Baker

His wife Mary Boyer Baker Children of the heart Steve Boyer (Holly), Eric Boyer, and Timothy Boyer (Ashley) Brother Ray Baker (Betty) Frida Baker Clausen (Robert), Dolly Baker Allen, and Saundra Baker Hansen (Hans).

Now Eternally Loved by all His grandchildren and multitude of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Mt. Hope Plains Cemetery in Otisville, NY on November 15th, 2024, at 2 PM

Daddy, you taught me everything a little girl should know from defending myself and others when they can’t, how to always see what others might not and how to fix something myself if others are unable. You are the one I measure all else too. My friend, my teacher, my daddy and now my angel.

Rest Easy soldier love your little girl.
