Frank Sorice of Middletown, the retired owner of Taylor Tile in Middletown, and a longtime resident of the area, died on March 2, 2015 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 86. The son of the late Anthony and Filomena Sorice, he was born on November 18, 1928 in Naples, Italy. He was a member and Head Usher at St. Joseph Church in Middletown. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society and the Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife Antoinette Sorice at home. His children: Anthony Sorice and his wife Deborah of Montgomery, N.Y. Phyllis Letterii and her husband Mickey of Highland, N.Y. and Nicholas Sorice and his wife Coleen of Middletown, N.Y. His brother Sam Sorice and his sisters Peppinelle Caruso; Anna Cantoli; Carmella Tondo; Angelina Vacchiano and Rose Bassano. He is also survived by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Abate and his brothers Pelligrino Sorice and Joseph Sorice. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday March 5 and Friday March 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage Street Middletown, N.Y. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
