Eugenia Acevedo of Bronx, N.Y. a retired seamstress in New York City, died on August 5, 2013 in Ramapo Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Suffern, New York. She was 88. She was born on November 15, 1924 in Puerto Rico. She was the widow of Casto Alvarez . Survivors include her 3 children: Casto Alvarez Jr.; Manuel Alvarez; Michael Alvarez ; as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at Strong-Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday August 8, 2013 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Warwick Cemetery in Warwick, NY.
