Elsie Marie Komonczi, a School bus driver for over 27 years who was known for her generosity, and lifelong resident of the area, died on Saturday May 12, 2012 at her son's home. She was 62. The daughter of the late Selah and Florence Oldrey Hadden, she was born on March 10, 1950 in Middletown, New York. She was a member of the Otisville-Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church; Greenville Seniors Leisure Club; Fraternal Order of Eagles, where she was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary and Mother of the Year. She was known for her Penny Socials at Christmas Time at the Community Center in Otisville to raise money for Cancer. She was a longtime Family Care Provider. She was the widow of David F. Komonczi. Survivors include her son James D. Komonczi and his wife Nancy of Westbrookville. Her grandchildren Keith Lake and his wife Araceli of Middletown; Kevin Lake of Beverly, MA. And Nicole Komonczi of Westbrookville and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Florence Elizabeth Philhower and brother Robert Hadden. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 15, 2012 from 7-9 PM at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 16, 2012 at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Orange County Veteran's Cemetery in Goshen, NY.
