Eleanor Prystowski

Eleanor Prystowski of Middletown, a former sales clerk at J.J. Newberry and Woolworth's in Middletown, died on Friday January 4, 2013 at her home. She was 85. The daughter of the late Chester and Alice Gibbs Lindsay, she was born on April 24, 1927 in Wurtsboro, N.Y. She was the widow of Harry Prystowski. Survivors include her sister Ruth Knospe of Middletown. Her nieces and nephews including Ruth Daubenspeck and her husband Kurt of Middletown. Adam Pierce and his wife Josephine of Westtown. Robert Pierce and his wife Beverly of Louisiana. Maryann Slater; Millie Prystowski; Alice Aiello and her husband Michael; and Penny Petrick all of Middletown. She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 9-11 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bloomingburg Cemetery Bloomingburg, N.Y.
