Debra Aponte

Debra Lyn Salter-Aponte Middletown, New York Debra Lyn Salter-Aponte, of Middletown, a paralegal for the Gurda Law Office in Middletown and the LoBiondo Law Office in Newburgh, entered into rest suddenly on Friday January 18, 2013. She was 52. The daughter of Keith and Sheila Salter, she was born on September 8, 1960 in Newark, Connecticut. She was an incredible mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, as she leaves behind a group of devastated people. Debra would want for everyone not to mourn her, but to remember all of the times that she made us smile. She would want us to enjoy and appreciate everything as she did and pass it on to the next generation. She may no longer be physically here with us, but her spirit and love will be in our hearts forever. Debra is survived by her parents; her loving daughters: Alexis Aponte and Nichole Thurston; two beautiful grandchildren: Victoria and John Robert Thurston; her son-in-law: John Thurston; her sister: Sharon Salter; her brother: John Salter; her best friend and boyfriend: Bill Sacco; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
