Cornelius Sullivan

November 12, 1940 — March 23, 1923

Cornelius (Neil) J. Sullivan, 72, of Warwick, New York died at home on Saturday, March 23, 2013 after a long illness. Neil is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rosemarie (nee Sage), his beloved son, Matthew Owen, eight Sisters-in-Law, five Brothers-in-Law, eleven nieces, eleven nephews, seven great nieces and three great nephews, a large extended family and friends. Neil was preceded in death by his daughter, Deirdre and his parents, John and Julia (nee Fitzgerald) Sullivan. Neil was a graduate of the Delahanty High School class of 1959 and The Television Studio School where he trained as a Film Editor and Videographer. He worked for many years in the Television and Video Media Industry, retiring to run his own business serving several stations and video businesses in the Tri-State area. Neil was generous, an avid reader, had a great sense of humor and loved classic films. A private cremation will be held. A funeral Mass will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road in Monroe, New York. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Citizens Reunited to Overcome Cancer, 55 Surrey Road, Chester, New York 10918, run by Dr. Thomas Eanelli.
