Carolina Visca Middletown, New York Carolina Visca, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died Wednesday April 10, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 86. The daughter of the late Giuseppe and Columba Palleschi Raponi, she was born on July 17, 1926 in Italy. Carolina was a member of St. Joseph RC Church in Middletown, NY. She was the widow of Manlio Visca. Survivors include her children: Maria Obolewicz and her husband Steven of Sandy Hook, CT; Antonietta Simoni and her husband Vincenzo of Middletown; Tonino Visca and his wife Karen of Newtown, CT; her grandchildren: Robert Obolewicz (Deirdre); Jennifer Obolewicz; Mark Obolewicz (Amy); Michael Simoni (Heather); Louise Simoni; Vincent Simoni; Jenna Visca; Jessica Visca; her 5 great-grandchildren: Nolan; Kayla; Adrie; Elliana and Michael; as well as her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday April 14, 2013 at Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Monday April 15, 2013 at St. Joseph RC Church in Middletown, NY. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
