Brian J. Igoe, a security officer for the New York State Division of youth at the Goshen Secure Center and for PiusXII and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Monday May 13, 2013 at Valley View Center for Nursing Care and Rehabilitation, from complications of Parkinson's Disease that he has battled for the last 8 years. He was 68. The son of the late John and Evelyn Igoe, he was born on December 1, 1944 in Manhattan. Brian was a member of the Greenwood Lake Elks Lodge 2067 and St. John the Evangelist Church in Goshen. He also worked in the film editing room for various motion pictures. Survivors include his wife: Elaine Mohr Igoe at home; his children: Michael Arzillo & his wife Sudaporn of Highland, NY; Catherine Brewer & her husband Terry of Cuddebackville, NY; Robert Arzillo of Middletown; William Arzillo of Middletown; Barbara Breaud & her husband Charles of Georgia; Mark Arzillo & his wife Darlene of Tennessee; Christine and Judi. His sisters: Ann Marie Schiffer and her husband Herb of Valhalla, NY & Eileen Killenberger of Hilton Head, S.C. Brian is further survived by his Grandchildren: his most adored Kyle Brewer; Tiara; Jesse; Michelle; David; Danielle; Raychelle; Arielle; Gabrielle; Chanelle; Kaila & Ashtin; his 4 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Thursday May 16, 2013 at the Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. 107 Murray Avenue Goshen, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 17, 2013 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist RC Church in Goshen, NY. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway Suite 1509 N.Y., N.Y. 10018.
